The 4th gen LS1 SS wheels, have a slight bend in one out of my 12 wheel set.
Anyone have one for cheap? Not in a rush...

Pranav, if you only need one, we can buy a set and split it.

I could also use one to round out a set of three. Technically Ross needs one as well.

Chrome, are those heavier? In my brain is a note that the chrome wheels are somewhat more brittle due to the chroming treatment. Somebody that knows set it straight.

The legit 2004 only Z06 fronts, for the commemorative, are POLISHED and not chrome. They also bear the Speedline insignia, so easy to tell a fake. They are NOT weaker than the grey wheels.

Yeah, this guy was up front in saying they are knockoffs.

I have heard the same thing. Saw it on a Corvette as wheel my first weekend at the track. Guy had a crack in one of them that had been chromed. Just stick with OEM wheels that haven't been blinged.

Chrome wheels also tend to corrode under the chrome, especially in the bead making it impossible to hold air

There's a couple of sets of 17+18" z06 take offs on Houston craigslist right now. One for 450 (with tires), other for 550 (with better tires). If one is so inclined, you can probably make some decent $ back selling off the 18s and the tires.
Too rich/too much risk for my blood.

You can sell the 18s for an easy 300/pr and Corvette guys want them all day long for a square track setup.

300/pair for the 18s? Really? Hmm

Last year I bought a set of 17/18 for $300. 2 had rash, and I was up front about that on the 18s that I sold for $300 plus shipping. They didn't last a day. I turned around with that $300 and bought a pair of 17s for $300 shipped. The guy selling these 10 spokes, ironically, bought my 5 spoke knockoffs last year which is where the first $300 came from to start this process. Now I just need to do it again.
