I'm thinking about replacing the master cylinder. I can't get the brake pedal as firm as I would like.
Is there any benefit to getting a new one from Chevy or are the Autozone/Advanced/etc good enough?

No opinion on their durability, but MCs last long enough that I would probably buy the cheaper of the two if I needed one.

Wayne,
If you can still get the kits you can re-build your old M/C.

might not be the m/c....check the interior axle ends on the rear end for slop....causes pad knockback....ask me how I know.....
