I'm looking for a place where I can buy automotive paint, thinner, etc. preferably in the Magnolia/Tomball/Spring/Conroe areas. Anyone have any good sources?
Thanks

Have you considered the Duplicolor Paint Shop line of paints carried in the auto parts stores? I've heard good things about it.

Well...I might if I dont find anything else. I dont want to use a laquer and it looks like their enamels are only available in a rattle can.

I have a contact at Northwest Auto Body Supplies but they are more near the Beltway.
The Duplicolor is avaliable in larger quauntities - Autozone carries it.

I talked to my neighbor who is a painter at a Woodlands area custom body shop. He said the closest to you is Tasco in Conroe. There is also Brusco's <spelling?> in Tomball and Northwest Auto Paint near Beltway 8 and 290. If you call Northwest, ask for Matt - the owner - tell him you got his name from me and refer Carr Engineering. They can deliver your order to my office and i can carry them north for you. It also turns out that all the suppliers deliver to your area and you may just get them to deliver on them anyway.
Sorry - no phone numbers but your a smart guy.

Yea, I'm confused. I thought he was supplying his own pain... as in when he gets it on track he'll figure out he could'a had a V8?

My Oreillys only has the duplicolor laquer in quarts, so I took a ride up to Tasco in Conroe. Now this is what I'm talking about! All kinds of industrial body shop supplies, PPG paint...all stocked up and ready to spray now.
