It should get me around the pits, shouldn't it?

Cool Mitch. It might just get you around the track nicely as well.

Nice scooter!! I'd say take it out on-track and go faster than you've ever gone before! :D

Rode most of the day, today
I forgot just how much fun it is and just how relaxing it can be.

How big is that bike?
Went for a ride today 2-up w/ the girlfriend.... :o
Only made it 3-4 miles from home when it started cutting out real bad.
turned around and nursed it home after 3-4 stalls. No time to fix it w/ the car so far behind w/ hallet less than a week away.

I'm officially jealous!
I have been looking at those since they came out. I will eventually get one. I came across a rippin' deal on a BMW RT last February so it will need to wait another year.
I also looked at the Buell XB12X, and I hear Mancuso has on in the rental fleet. I might need to try that.

Very cool...I hope to have an enclosed trailer and a Buell pit-bike someday!

Chris ... this bike is amazing.
What shocked me was the 02 and 03 models were bringing $7K+ with 10K miles.
This 06 was tucked away in my garage for not a lot more than that.
Insane!

Used bike prices go nuts this time of year. That's why I always try to buy in December-January.
The 'Strom has a great reputation, and many devoted followers. It is also a bit less money than the Buell.
I am going to be selling my "Houston" bike soon to get a newer one. You info on the used priced says I probably can't get a 'Strom.

I know the price fluctuation well and began searching last October.
I used eBay as a guide to high retail for used bikes and was constantly looking for a "deal" that was 15-20% off what eBay was going for. I put in a few token bids on eBay, but knew I'd never get it.
This scooter is a helluva lot of fun.
I've found a whole group of folks that ride, socialize and don't seem to have a lot of worries about dyno certs, rules creep and protecting the racers from each other. They just ride and stop for an occasional beer.
