Well, I had a weird email while up at Miller that had me worried about them trying to close out our contract.... However, talking to my boss today I found out I am only one of two guys being kept around due to my hard work over the last 6 months and the fact they can trust me! So I am good to go for a while....thank goodness!
All around a great 14 days for me!

Congrats, Matt!
Fantastic!
I'm on a job hunt myself. I'm being considered at a small telecom outfit in Plano, right now (they're at the corner of Legacy and the tollway, so they're well-funded, I hope!)
My contract at Southwest runs out in two weeks, so things are getting interesting on the job front...
(Still going to make EC, I think.)

Very cool! No excuses now for not making ECR!
Well, I've been lurking for a few weeks, living vicariously through the folks that attended Nationals and have since started my new job. I'm working for DTL Engineering & Design, a company founded by none other than Thomas Thrash (noted SCCA Spec RX-7 driver). Tom passed away a couple of months ago at a race on the East Coast but his company is still doing well. I started work on my birthday... kind of a cool coincidence and am working with an old car club buddy from A&M now. I appreciate all the good sentiments passed my way while going through all this. I'm working on getting up to ECR but no promises yet. Still a lot of drivetrain issues to fix.
